Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue service reached out to the community at Luton Town Football Club on Monday, May 5.
A faith based community cup for under 10’s, under 12’s, under 14’s and mens, brought elements of the community together.
Simon Barker, assistant chief fire officer, said: “Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue service are extremely pleased to continue to support this joint event which has now been successfully running for the last seven years.”
Rayman Khan, the Luton Tigers winning captain, said: “The whole day has been a big success and it’s been a pleasure to be involved with the Fire and Rescue service.”
Butch Fazal, chair of Luton United FC and the Asian Football Forum, said: “I would like to thank Luton Town FC, Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue service, Luton Tigers and Inspire FM 105.1 and all the volunteers for their help on the day.”
