TWO men were robbed in Luton by a gang of five on Monday (January 30).
The group of five men approached the victims in Union Street as they were walking home with a friend at 8.10pm.
The first victim, aged 27, was punched in the head and forced to hand over his gym bag which contained a small amount of money, a gym membership card and personal documentation.
The second victim, aged 28, was threatened before his sports bag containing a key and gym clothes was taken from him.
The friend, aged 29, was also threatened but he refused to hand over his belongings and the five offenders left the scene on foot towards Oxford Road.
The offenders are all described as white men, between 18 – 20 years of age. The first offender was between 5’6” to 5’7” tall and clean shaven, the second had a medium build and short brown shaved hair, and the third had a large build and was clean shaven. There are no other descriptions available of the offenders.
