CHART topper Olly Murs has been announced as the second act to headline the Love Luton Festival in July.
The X Factor 2009 runner-up, who has hit number one hits with Please Don't Let Me Go, Heart Skips a Beat and Dance With Me Tonight, will perform live at Pope's Meadow on Saturday July 7.
He joins Brit Award nominated boy band The Wanted, who were announced as the festival's Friday night headliners, at the head of the bill.
Olly was unveiled as a headliner by festival artistic director Rob Lee at The Mall Luton on Saturday afternoon with a video message from the singer himself played to onlooking fans.
Other acts added to the line up on Saturday July 7 include grime artist Skepta, Sway, urban and dance performer Mz Bratt and up and coming rapper Lady Leshurr.
Supporting The Wanted on Friday July 6 will be Irish pop star Aisling O'Reilly.
Festival artistic director Rob Lee said: "This weekend will be the biggest in Luton's history.
"We're going to generate the kind of excitement here that will make you proud."
Tickets went on sale as soon as the act was announced at www.luton.gov.uk/2012festival, at the visitors centre in St George's Square or at The Hat Factory in Bute Street.
They are priced at £32.50 per person or £120 for a family ticket until April 7. A booking fee will also be charged.
