A woman has died after a car accident at the junction of Airport Way just after midnight this morning (August 21).
The 70-year-old was involved in a collision with a silver Mercedes Vito at the junction with Percival Way.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured but the pedestrian was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital where she sadly died.
Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Collision Investigation Unit have launched an investigation and the road was closed until 3.19am while they examined the scene.
