A road crash in Luton has left two people seriously hurt, and another with slight injuries.
Police were advising drivers to avoid Newlands Road tonight, Saturday, January 21, while an investigation is carried out.
The accident happened just after 2.15pm today and involved a Renault Clio and an Audi A4.
Two women from the Renault Clio, the driver and passenger, have been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A man driving the Audi A4 was slightly hurt and was also taken to hospital.
The road has been closed while officers from the Beds and Herts collision investigation unit have been carrying out an investigation into the crash.
