A WOMAN who claimed £8,876 of false benefits was convicted on two counts of benefit fraud at Luton Magistrates Court.
Anna Sienkiewicz, 30, of Surrey Street in Luton, pleaded guilty to the charges at a previous hearing.
Sienkiewicz was required to report any changes in her financial circumstances but failed to do so and must now repay all the money to the Council. She was sentenced to a 12 month community order and 200 hours unpaid work, and must pay £250 towards the Council’s costs.
