A man was taken to hospital after an assault in Denham Close on Sunday afternoon (April 21).
The 22-year-old man had left a house at about 2.15pm and was about to get into a taxi when two men approached him and assaulted him for an unknown reason before leaving the scene in a blue car.
The victim was taken to hospital where he received treatment to cuts on his legs, arms and face.
Det Con Mohammed Hussain said: “This was an extremely violent assault which has left this young man scarred for life. We are still piecing together exactly why this man was targeted in this way. It is possible that the blue car was driving around the area prior to the assault and I urge anyone with information to come forward and help identify those responsible.”
The offenders are described as two black men in their 20s, approximately 6ft tall. One wore sunglasses and a black beanie hat.
