Public meetings to discuss the future of Luton’s libraries will take place next week.
It’s the last chance for residents to have their say on the closures or relocation of libraries across town.
Both meetings are on Tuesday April 23; the first at Futures House in Marsh Farm from 2-4pm, the second at Luton Central Library in St George’s Square, 7-9pm.
Councillor Mohammed Ashraf said: “Due to cuts in funding we cannot continue the libraries service in its present form. The vision is to have fewer standalone libraries and more in community centres.”
