Police want to hear from anyone who had an egg thrown at them from a moving vehicle on Sunday (April 14).
Off-duty police officers stopped two men in a car on the A6 between Luton and Streatley at about 7pm, after eggs were thrown at members of the public in the town centre from a convertible.
The officers contacted on-duty colleagues and arrests were made.
One person has already come forward to say they were egged, say Bedfordshire Police, and anyone else who was a victim should contact Investigation Officer Dominique Bell on 01582 394488.
