A man was assaulted by about a dozen men in brought daylight in Luton town centre last Thursday (April 11).
The 25-year-old victim was surrounded by a group of 10-12 men outside Don Miller’s bakery on George Street at about 4pm.
They kicked and punched him to the ground before using a Blackberry-shaped electric stun device.
The offenders are all described as either black or mixed race.
PC Michelle Moore, investigating, said: “This appears to be an unprovoked assault and we need witnesses to come forward and give information which can help identify those responsible. We know the area was very busy and the group of men were shouting loudly.”
Anyone with information is urged to call the non-emergency number 101
