Cardinal Newman parents are gearing up for a week of protests next week over proposed cuts to faith school buses.
Spokeswoman Antoinette Kotula said: “We’re demonstrating outside the town hall on Tuesday (April 16) before the full council meeting.
“One of our members has been allowed to speak at the meeting for five minutes to put our issue across.
“There is also a public meeting at the school at 7pm on Wednesday with council leader Hazel Simmons, who only agreed to it after our demonstration last month.”
She added: “We will also be demonstrating at the council executive meeting on April 29 when a final decision will be made.”
