Superfast 4G from EE launched in Luton today (March 28), which will offer businesses and residents mobile speeds five times faster than 3G.
EE is the new superfast 4G brand, and the company that runs the Orange and T-Mobile brands in the UK.
The EE store in the Arndale Centre offers the people of Luton mobile and fibre broadband services from EE, Orange and T-Mobile.
Dean Humphrey, Regional Manager for Luton, EE, said: “The arrival of superfast 4G mobile in Luton is great news for residents and businesses in the area. I’m delighted that we’re getting access to 4G so soon after the launch of the service. A lot of mobile users with 4G-ready devices like the Apple iPhone 5 will now be able to upgrade to 4GEE and get the most out of their phone. As the first operator to bring 4G to the UK it’s great that we’re making it accessible to as much of the population as possible, as quickly as possible.”
4G from EE is now available in 49 other towns and cities across the UK, covering over 45 per cent of the population in just five months since the launch of the superfast service.
