A Houghton Regis firm has been named in the Sunday Times list of the UK’s top 100 companies to work for.

Staff at Ascertiva marked the award win by releasing 100 golden balloons from the company’s headquarters at Warwick House in Houghton Hall business park.

One of the world’s leading third party certification companies, and formerly known as the NICEIC Group, Ascertiva was recognised on the basis of ratings given by staff in eight key areas, including leadership, personal growth and wellbeing.

Chief executive Emma Clancy said: “I am delighted that Ascertiva has been recognised as one of the best 100 companies to work for.

“This is a result of continued hard work and effort by all of us, at every level in the company and it makes me extremely proud.”

Last year Ascertiva staff took part in volunteering days at the Luton & Dunstable Hospital and helped create a nature reserve at Watling Lower School in Dunstable.

They also helped raise thousands for local charities and contributed to life-saving equipment for the maternity unit at L&D.

South West Beds MP Andrew Selous said: “This is a tremendous accolade. It is a mark of recognition for all the great work they do both inside and outside the office and it’s pleasing to see a local firm that so many employees are delighted to work for.”
