A car and van hire business has opened a big new depot in Luton.
Northgate Vehicle Hire’s new base, in Cosgrove Way, is about 1.5 acres and houses up to 80 vehicles.
Local sales manager, James Caves, said: “As a local person who lives and works here I have seen for myself the potential that the Luton and surrounding area holds for Northgate.”
The new depot will create seven jobs within the first year. It is anticipated it will eventually hold full workshop facilities and create 10 full time jobs from year three on.
James Fitzpatrick, Northgate Vehicle Hire’s area operations manager said: “The region has experienced a period of business growth, which in turn has provided Northgate with a unique opportunity to trade in an area that houses a diverse mix of business opportunities.”
Northgate has sites across more than 60 locations in the UK & Ireland.
