A couple were robbed as they walked home from a night out in Marsh Road on Saturday (February 2).
The 20-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend were walking along a footpath between Penhill flats and Marsh road at about 1.30am when a man jumped out from behind some bushes and threatened them with a knife.
He took a Rolex watch, a Gucci handbag, a leopard print bag, a large amount of cash, some keys and other items.
Det Con Jabbar Khan said: “During the robbery the man has made threats towards both victims and caused a minor injury to the female victim. This was clearly a traumatic experience for the couple to have to endure and I urge anyone who saw or has information about the offender to speak to the police.”
The robber is described as black, about 5’8 tall and well built. He fled the scene on foot towards Penhill Flats.
