Students were burgled by armed robbers in their Meyrick Avenue home on Friday night (January 25).
The victims heard a loud bang and two men entered the house, with one man brandishing a knife.
They threatened the students, who are all aged 20, and forced them to hand over mobile telephones and cash.
PC Jo Barkat said: “The offenders got away with an iPhone 4, a Nokia Lumia phone, a wallet with a small amount of cash and bank cards. They caused damage to the front door of the property and did make a noise so it is possible that members of the public heard or saw two people matching these descriptions and could help identify those responsible. I urge these people to come forward and help with this investigation.”
The first offender is described as a black man, approximately 20 years old, 6’1” tall, well built and wearing a black balaclava.
The second offender is described as a white man, approximately 19 years old, 5’9” tall with a slender build, a slight moustache and side burns.
