A man was attacked by a gang who stole his phone and bag in an alleyway on Wednesday (January 23).
The 29-year-old man was in the alleyway between Hitchin Road and Tower Road in Luton when he was approached from behind by five men.
They knocked him to the floor and punched him several times, then two of the group pinned him down while the other three searched him and took his belongings.
The gang, who were aged between 18-23 and had their faces covered, then fled towards Hitchin Road and the victim called the police.
