THE UK Centre for Carnival Arts is to run an ambitious community programme aimed specifically at young people and those not in education or training.
Its Digital Carnival Arts Project will be launched on Monday January 16. It offers a series of free evening courses and is a chance to work with some fantastic tutors in this exciting area.
Chief executive Paul Anderson said: “We know there is a huge amount of creativity out there in Luton.
“The Digital Carnival Arts Project is a fantastic opportunity to unlock this talent. We aim to encourage a new generation of Luton’s young adults to get involved and learn new creative digital skills.
“Through carnival’s diverse range of music, dance and costume, this project offers a qualification that will support people in developing careers in creative industries.”
There are three courses available covering everything from music production and performance through costume making, tools and techniques to dance, film and photography.
