A man was stabbed during an aggravated burglary in Florence Avenue last night (December 3).
The 23-year-old victim was at home when a group of three or four men knocked on the door of his house and forced their way in to the property.
The victim struggled with one of the offenders as they searched the property, and he sustained a stab wound to his abdomen.
He was taken to the Luton and Dunstable Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
The burlgars fled the scene empty handed.
Investigating Officer Jim Fowler said: “We believe a silver Honda car was seen in the area at the time of this incident but it is not clear if this vehicle was connected to the offenders. I would urge the driver of this car or anyone with information about the men involved to come forward and speak to the police.”
The armed offender is described as a man with a large build, 6’ tall with brown eyes. He wore a blue balaclava, a blue hooded top, blue woollen gloves, a nylon jacket with a zip up the front which also had a logo on the right side that looked like a white circle with two black lines and blue jogging bottoms.
There are no further descriptions of the other offenders available at this time.
