Police say they are concerned about the safety of a woman who has gone missing from her home in Luton and has not been seen for a week.
Shibna Begum, aged 35, was seen by her family on November 21 but has not made contact with them since. She has had a history of depression and had been upset recently.
It is known that Shibna often travels by train to places where other family live, or sometimes makes apparently random journeys. She has recently travelled to Manchester, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Birmingham and Stevenage and has previously been located at train stations.
Shibna is described as Asian, thin, about 5ft 1in tall, with black shoulder length hair and scars on her arms. She is believed to be wearing a three quarter length cream coat, and likely to be in black trousers and black shoes. She usually wears silver rings with purple stones on each finger.
If you have seen Shibna, know where she is, or have any information that could help the police locate her call 101, or call the Bedfordshire Police Missing Persons Unit direct on 01234 275135.
